Tzong-Lin Wu (吳宗霖) received the B.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 1991 and 1995, respectively.

From 1995 to 1996, he was a senior Engineer at the Microelectronics Technology, Inc., Hsinchu, Taiwan. From 1996 to 1998, he joined the Central Research Institute, Tatung Company, Taipei, Taiwan, where he was involved with the analysis and measurement of EMC of integrated circuits/EMI problems of high-speed digital systems. From 1998 to 2005, he was with the Electrical Engineering Department, National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering, NTU. He was a visiting professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the summer of 2008. His current research interests include EMC/EMI, signal/power integrity design for high-speed digital/optical systems, and microwave circuit design.

Dr. Wu received the Excellent Research Award and Excellent Advisor Award from NSYSU in 2000 and 2003, respectively, the Outstanding Young Engineers Award from the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineers (CIEE) in 2002, Wu Ta-You Memorial Award from National Science Council (NSC) in 2005, and Technical Achievement Award from IEEE EMC Society in 2009, the Outstanding Research Award from NSC in 2010, and the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ADVANCED PACKAGE Best Paper Award in 2010. He has served as the Treasurer of Taipei Section, IEEE from 2007 to 2008, and Chair of the Taipei Section, Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) from 2007 to 2011. He has also served as the Board of Directors (BoD) of IEEE Taipei Section in 2009 to 2010. He was elected as a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE EMC society from 2008 to 2009. He actively participated in IEEE activity as the co-chair and chair of the IEEE EDAPS Workshop in 2007 and the IEEE EDAPS Symposium in 2010, respectively, and the chair of the International Workshop on EMC in 2008. He has served as the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Electrical Engineering (IJEE) since 2006. He is a member of IEICE and CIEE.
